Dear Steve,
Traveling by RV is indeed for the rich..(this is not what trailer trash means) At one time you could travel and stay cheaply in parks and RV lots but today it is equivalent to a expensive motel room. Gas and the cost of a comfortable RV is also in the equation.
trailer trash: live in rented (or owned) unkept, old model eight and ten wide trailers or rundown travel trailers.

Is travel by trailer a trashy or posh thing to do?
I saw this show trying to sell me the idea of travel by trailer, saying that rich people are buying RV's now, and some of them looked really nice...but, isn't trailer trash a commonly used expression? If it is, wouldn't travel by trailer be a lower...
