Is this wrong?

Ok my best friend is leaving in a few days to go to europe and will be there until december. I have only seen her four times since school got out june 8th. We are REALLY good friends and have been for a while! But we even made a point that we were going to hang out a lot this summer since she is leaving. But, whenever I call her she doesnt answer or when she does answer she can never do anything, she will say I will call you the next day and we can hang out, but she never calls. I sent her a message on myspace about how I was wanting to hang out but we never can and I am not going to call her anymore and just wait for her to call me because whenever I call well she never answers or is busy. And she said sorry and that we will definatley hang out later. but again She never called. Its not like she is dropping me as a friend because she found someone new all she has been doing is working and hanging out with her family. But since she is leaving I am thinking about just dropping her as a friend because apperently she really doesnt care about our friendship if she cant even keep her word, and doesnt even make an effort to hang out. also she because of her I lost a lot of my old friendships and it may just be a god idea for my benefit to stop being friends with her. ALSO she has changed a lot it seems, she kinda acts better then people who live in my town because she is going to europe to live for awhile, and she just isnt very nice anymore. It makes me really sad cause we are..or were SUCH GREAT friends. but she has dropped other friends in the past. should I just not talk to her anymore? I have been thinking about it, I have even cried a few times, but its just not worth the time or hassal anymore.

Seems like a bad friend to me, shes not worth the effort that you have been putting in!

You should make more friends if she's not like she used to. But if you want to, you can keep trying to call her and stuff, so she wont be a completely forgotten memory.
