There is a couple nearby, (well, was, she passed on this fall) who married and had four kids. Two were Downs Syndrome (boy and girl, he died at 35) and the other two boys are very intelligent. The married ones were first cousins!

A fourth cousin ?? Thats a huge separation in the family. Half the world is prob related.

It's not incest, and it doesn't break any laws or religious taboos or medical rules. As bigmuma says, it's a huge separation and in small towns probably everyone is a 4th cousin of someome else.

Yeh I agree pinkpearl. I dont even know who half of my second cousins are let alone 3rd of fourth. I think its ok. Funny story. My aunt married a man and then later found out they were second cousins through marriage. They had a minor heart attack until they traced back to find it was only through marriage.
