No not at all. it is differant for differant types of people. Some may takes a long long time, others may get over it in a matter of days. The reason you are still grieving is becasue u grew fond of your dog and got so used to it being there, now its gone it's like someone has ripped a bit of your heart out. True?

Is this too long to be sad about my dog's death?
I got real close too my dog but in August of 2006 he died from heatstroke at the age of 4 3/4. Is it too long to still be this sad?
