Is this too long to be sad about my dog's death?

I got real close too my dog but in August of 2006 he died from heatstroke at the age of 4 3/4. Is it too long to still be this sad?

I don't think it's too long...people grieve differently...but life does indeed go on and he'll always be in your heart...think of the good times, and SMILE !

No not at all. it is differant for differant types of people. Some may takes a long long time, others may get over it in a matter of days. The reason you are still grieving is becasue u grew fond of your dog and got so used to it being there, now its gone it's like someone has ripped a bit of your heart out. True?

no. it's all good. dog is man best friend. haha...
it shows that you actually care... and your dog wasn't just some animal.
