Well me and my boyfriend are officially on a 'break'. This is really weird and I really don't like it at all. He said he needs some time to figure things out, he considers me his best friend and he still wants to be a part of my life, and when I asked...

him if there's hope for us, he said yes. So I don't know. This is just too weird. What happens now? Since we weren't doing that well before this happened, nothing really feels that different. We don't talk too much outside school and he still picks me up for school, I guess that's why I keep saying this is weird, Lol.
So. What does going on a 'break' really mean?
and.. does it mean you can see other people? Not that I want to, I just wondered if it's a possibility that he wants to.

well about 3 months ago I wanted a break from my boyfriend. I still wanted us to be friends and talk, I just needed some time. I saw him every day still cause he lived with me and my family (his parents kicked him out long story.) but even though I was the one who wanted a break I was still completely in love with him. I think I just needed some time to myself and stuff like that. even if things arent working now it doesnt mean they have to stay like that. if he was honestly interested in someone else he would probably end things with you for reals, but he still wants to be your friend and so on. just give him the time he needs. and in a few weeks if its still going in talk to him and see what he wants you guys to do. even though its really hard to handle it when you would rather be together stay positive cause a break doesnt mean things are over.
