Is this skanky?

Asked by oliviabivia over 3 years ago, 5 answers.

Alright, so.
I'm 14.
I've been dating my boyfriend [he'll be 15 in 6 months] for over 3 months.
I know it might sound crazy, but I am in love with that boy, I'm almost positive he carea about me just as much.
Is it skanky to have sex at my...

age?
Both my older sisters waited until they were 16, and I had a discussion about sex with my oldest 20 year old sister once, and she said I have to wait untill I'm 16 too.
I'm not just wanting to do it because I'm ugly and want to feel better about myself or something,
[?]
I really do care about this boy tremendously.
Advice?

I would really consider waiting till you're older hun, because sex is a huge step in a relationship and you are just to young to understand all the things that come with it. When you first have sex you will have a lot emotional attachment, so if you end up breaking up with this guy its going to be really really complicated, you could get pregnant etc etc But if you do end up deciding to take this big leap, I HIGHLY recommend getting on birth control, you will be able to get it 100% free at planned parenthood and you can do this without your parents knowledge, the only issue would be you getting a ride there. Also use a condom everytime!

its not skanky at all if u truely love him. but the thing is when u wanna have sex u need to be physically and emotionally ready at the same time some people at the age of 14 arent that ready but if u think u truely are there is always gunna be consequencese first its only been 3 months i would say wait a little long into the relationship and if theres a break up its gunna hurt a lot worse on u cause u gave him ur virginity and tats and extrememly precious thing ot have. but if u do decide to do it make sure u use protection

I do not care what anyone else thinks or says to you. No, you are not old enough to make that decision yet. You have not had enough life experience to be responsible enough to have sex. So, don't do it.

Its not skanky but be careful, my gf got with her first at 14 and he imediatly left her and it is causing ongoing issues for her. I would say try to leave it abit longer, if he really loves you he wont mind and will stick with you untill your older.

If you do, use a condom, and after watch where things go because it only take a drop of sperm and then it gets scary.

Also bear in mind that even if you want to it puts a lot of stress on your relationship, the times that you spend curled up together can get displaced so that when ever you want to cuddle he starts angle-ing.
