no I dont think that was rude of you to ask a man that you should have told him look mister no need to get an attitude I was just asking no need for the rude looks I hope that helps a lil .
No, as long as you asked nicely I wouldn't have seen a problem with helping someone out, he was definately the rude one! Oh well, some people are just like that though!
No. I don't think that's rude. I would be embarrassed to ask a total stranger to pick something up for me, but I see no harm. As long as you asked nicely it's not rude. If you sounded cruel and demanding than that's one thing.
I think it was actually rude of them not to pick it up for you. That's my opinion. Unless the man was disabled or something?
I'm thinking the Lady thought you were being ignorant or something and letting your son play with the ball in the restaurant.
No, it wasn't rude of you to ask him! I think him and his girlfriend were the ones that were rude!
I asked him very nicely. I guess I will think twice before asking people in the future. I just thought it was no big deal. The look I got from the lady reminder of the saying (If looks could kill). When I left, I was really wondering if that was rude to ask or if they were rude. Thank you
it was fine that you asked the man. But it was RUDE OF THE MAN to not help you out even if his 'lady friend' gave this drop dead look...
Maybe...just maybe...the 'drop dead' look meant something personal between the man that lady...who knows?lol
Definitely not rude to ask but terribly rude of them to respond in this way. We Southerners are supposed to be known for our hospitality, right?
No it was not rude but It sounds like he and his lady friend were both having their period. . .
hahaha yes!!! finally someone who admits that men have man periods. its so true.
but no you werent rude.
no it wasnt rude, especially since you asked him nicely...som people dont have the time, or just might be arrogant a-holes! so dont expect everyone to do you a favour! but also dont let it put you off from asking people for help in the future. some people dont care but a lot of them would love to help
no it is not rude he was just being ignorant or he may be parcially deaf but it is clear his girlfriend isnt deaf shes just plain RUDE
no I dont think so. people now days seem to only be out for themselves. Seems people are forgetting manners or maybe were never taught them to begin with. I have held the door open for people when I am going in somewhere and a lot of time dont even get a simple thank you. so I always say your welcome no matter if they say anything or not and that embaresses them and a lot of time they will say thank you after that. LOL just my way of being a smart a**

Is this rude?
Is this rude? I was at Ryan's today eating and we were leaving, I got my son a ball out of the machine and it rolled through the railing and over to the other side of the place where people were walking in. I clearly could not get to it and I asked this man if he could please pick it up for me because my son dropped it. I got the worst drop dead look from his lady friend he was with and he never did even answer me. He didn't pick it up and just went on. My question, was it rude to ask him?
