Is this prom dress in style?

I'm not sure whether or not to wear this dress to prom. I found it in my mom's closet.

I think it's nice...but, it does look a bit dated. With the right accessories though, people might not notice.

Perhaps other people can chime in with their opinion too...

Ok, here it is:

its cute but seems a little to plain.
maybe if u took it to a tailer or designer to maybe put sequins on it or maybe make a design...maybe even shorten the dress to make it look cuter.
adding touches will cost way less then u paying for a totally new dress

It is kinda hard to see in the picture, but it looks like it has some beautiful embroidered work on it. In which case i think adding anything to it will completely ruin it. I think it's a beautiful dress. It looks very classy, you'll definitely stand out. The only thing I suggest is maybe adding a nice sheer shoal to go with it. You can get shoes and purses dyed to match the color at most bridal/prom shops too.
