depends on the colour of the dad.

yeah, and the color of THEIR parents, if your cat isn't a purebred and the father isnt either, it's pretty normal that the kittens will be different colors.

Coulors can also be passed dwon generations eg from grandparents. so you could have two balck cats and cget ginfer and white kittens

Well you just said your cat had two kittens, 2 white and 1 tan. That makes Three.
But Yes unlike other animals a female cat can have multiple fathers in one litter. This is why all the kittens could look different.

Entirely normal...she probably dated more than one guy ...so those kittens are fathered by more than one Tom cat.
