I got them when I went through puberty. it is normal. some people have the stretchmark genes that tell your body to pop a few out every time you do a cartwheel. it's a pain, but you just have to live with them. keep your skin moisturized heavily (vitamin E is helpful). it pretty much your only defence.

I'm guessing it's just because you are growing.

they are completely normal
its hard to get rid of them thougfh
they will fade with age
theres also a few creams out there that claim to make them less visable
but dont worry. because many other girls also have them too

stretchmarks can stay for a long time... years, some don't go away..
the reason for stretchmarks... is that your body is growing faster than your skin can handle, and thats why is stretches a lot. everyone gets then... it most likely happens when people are growing(puberty), or gaining of weight..
