Is this a sign?

Okay, erm, I'm 13 and I get a ton of discharge every single day, but I'm still completely flat chested. Is this a sign my period will start soon?

It's probably a sign, but not always. Usually before a girl starts her period she gets discharge. (I found it mainly there to annoy me during puberty)

It's normal to have discharge if it's a clear/whiteish/light yellowish that doesn't really have an odor. It can be sign of your period coming, but it might not be. Every girl is different so we all start our periods at different times. As far as you being flat chested goes, give your body so time and be patient. Your not near done growing/developing yet. Your boobs usually aren't fully developed until your in your 20s.

really. the thinner you are, the less boob youve got. breasts are just mounds of flesh (fat). and how much boob you have really doesnt matter.

so, really, your period could start any time. a sign I found was that I started gaining weight like crazy and my boobs started growing really fast (from training bras to b-cups in less than three months) before it starts. your acne will get a lot more severe.

so the more time you have before your period starts, the better.

hottidoll - Not ALL skinny girls are flat chested. I know this for a fact. I'm skinny and short *5`4 and not chubby/fat in and shape or form* and my current breast size is a 36C. Breasts aren't just fat - there's other types of tissue and muscles in them too. And not EVERYONE has acne before their period. The signs and PMS symptoms just depend on the girl since every girl is different.
