Is this a really bad idea?

Is it a bad idea to go to the same college as my boyfriend? I have to seriously start thinking about that.
I can't stand being away from him right now. It hurts so bad. And he says I should go there with him next year. I really want to, but some people...

say I shouldn't. I'm also afraid that his parents will start to dislike me or something. But he's the one I want to be with forever and I don't want to be far from him any more than I have to. My friends tell me it's stupid to want to go to school with him, but I don't think they understand.

So what do you think?

hm... well thats a really good question. my boyfriend and I will be in the same boat next year... so I think you should go to the best school for you. I totally understand the fact you want to be with him, but you should also think about yourself, and your education. so make sure the school is a good school for what your going to college for.

Go to that school only if its a school that has things you want in a school other than your boyfriend. As in, if he wasnt there, would you still want to do there? And if you break up while you are there, will you regret going there rather then somewhere else? I know right now it seems impossible to think of breaking up, but thinking about it realistically, you have to think of all possibilities. Go to a place that will make you happy, with or without him, because it is where you are going to spend the next 4 years gaurenteed, there are no promises with love...you know what I mean.

but there's one school I've always wanted to go to and that's you penn. I'm pretty sure I won't get in because of my sat scores, but I'm going to appy. and if I get in, I'm definately going there no matter what. but I've never had a back up plan or anything. so I don't think it'd really matter where I went. I visited this other school's campus and it's really nice. so I don't know.
