Is this a good reason to break up with me?

im 14 and my ex-boyfriend was 16 and my mom doesnt feel like I should have a boyfriend and she didnt know I went out with him yesterday he broke up with me because he said he's tired of not being able to do the things he want to do with me because of how my mom is and he said my mom is our problem and she the thing that keeps coming between us and all the things he want to do with me...!!! Is that a good reason to break up with me oh and let me remind ya'll we had been going together for 11 months

I had this exact same problem. I was 15 and he was seventeen. My mom only told me I couldnt go out with him because he graduated early, how dumb is that?! Yeah that is a dumb reason but I see where she is coming from. Most 16 year old guys only want sex. So she was trying to protect you from getting hurt. If he would break up with you for something dumb like that then he wasnt the one. You just need to find someone else. Talk to your mom about it. She probably had a really bad break up and she is trying to prevent that from happening to you.
