Is there somthing wrong with my puppy?

ok my puppys sleeping and I went to kiss her and I noticed she was breathing really heavy then earlyer today she was breathing really fast and she kinda makes wierd noices every now and then but I think there normal because my other yorkshire terrier...

does it too so should I talk to my mom about bringing her to the vet just in case??? by the way shes 9 weeks old and a yorkshire terrier

My puppy does the same and he's fine.

Animals have different breathing patterns than humans

I have a puppy and he always did that too, becasue he is young he will miss his mum and sibling so.. you should give him a blancket to cuddle to so he feels like he is cuddled up to his brothers and sister. And some people say a watch that ticks is good to calm them down to. don't make it to loud becasue dogs have very sensitive ears. they can hear way louder than us.

The dog is probably thinking about there old family. The breathing is normal because the dog is dreaming about things they enjoy like running in a grass field or it could be having a nightmare like not seeing it's old family. Otherwise that, the dog doesn't have like really bad nightmares.

As everyone says above they do this but I have also noticed babies in general do this. My new Grandson breathes like this. He was born June 5, 2009

if its breathing very fast its having a nightmare
if its breathing heavily its just a regular sleep for dogs
