True periods can be a little irregular when you're younger, and you probably have a hormonal imbalance but there might be something else wrong.
Talk to your doctor about it and get them to do some tests, continuous irregularaties are not normal and should not be ignored.
I understand where your mother is coming from, hormones have several side effects, the long term consequences still havent really been thoroughly researched, and if she's anything like my mother, she hears the word birth control and she thinks sex...
But, tell her you just want to see what a doctor has to say, and to rule out anything else. If she's one of the more stubborn types, look up polysistic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and tell her you want to make sure it isnt something like that...

ok I got my period just before New Years(Tuesday 1st) and I've got them again on Tuesday 15th..
I wont to go on the pill to regulate my period, but my mum doesnt really wont me to.
