Is anyone here involved with firefighting or ems?

Hey! I'm the Captian of a Venture Crew for a fire company and Presendent for an Explorer group for a ambulance service as well. I wanted to know if there was anyone on this site that is a firefighter or EMS provider or even a junior like me! Also I'd like to know if you are in a fire company if they even have a junior's program in place and maybe how they run it so I can perfect my groups. Thanks

im a firefighter I started when I was 15, im 21 now the jr program was pretty cool couldnt do a whole lot but it was cool its a lot better when you get over 18, im 21 now and if the rumors are true ill be LT soon

Congrats, I'm just ending my CFR, certified first responder, course now. I had my practicals last week and passed them all the first time, I would have died if I had to redue any of them. lol. Thanks for posting.

hey im a explorer for a vol F.D. in upstate N.Y. I just became capt an we just started overhauling our group the way we are doing things now is some hands on things now bc of the season an more book work. we learn about different types an classes of fires an things like that we make them bring full gear an keep track of who brings it because when it becomes nicer ther will be extra work for the ones who dident bring it...well I hope this helps some at least...good luck
