Get a copy of the driving regulations in your state. Every state has them. Probably through your school, or local state representative, or state police barracks. Study that and have someone quiz you on it.
Then get your learner's permit and get your parent to take you for driving practice.

Here in PA, many schools have classes after school for both the learner's permit, behind-the-wheel driving classes, and actual on-the-road experience. Possibly your school has a similar program. Check it out!
