How to play piano by ear?

is ther a way to make myself play piano by HEARING?! if so...then how?

Dear judymoody100,
Playing by ear means you can hear a song and play it without music to that song. It does not mean you use your ear to play the piano lol but that would be rather funny.

yeah..im like that. everyone says I have a gift. I can't read music but if someone plays a song I can play it back to them...if that's what you mean..

hi judy, I played piano for 6 years... I think you mean playing by ear, yes? thats where you dont need sheet music you just have to hear the song and you can play it.

Some people are naturally gifted this way, motzart etc... but I dont know if you can learn it...

YOu can't learn how to do it. YOu just do it. Sorry but if you are wanting to play the piano you will jsut have to learn to read notes and take some lessons.
