no, teenagers need at least 7-9 hours of sleep a day
8 is a good number
this helps with learing, functioning,
your body developing normally and your mind and brain be ing able to function noramlly
little sleep will cause slack behavior/laziness...
your mind wont be able to keep up and work out problems like on tests properly
and if you keep up so little amount of sleep for a long time,
it can cause bigger problems a, stress, and even lower your lifespan
a good nights sleep is one of the most important things your body needs to function normally

I like less sleep better!
I think if we didn't have to sleep than we'd get a lot more stuff done!
Sometimes I feel better if I sleep less.
But I know it's really not healthy.

I agree with trisarahtops, we waste too much time on sleep. In the summer I sleep whenever I want, but in the normal school year I go 3-4 hours a night and I'm fine. I'm more energized when I get less sleep, actually.

It's not very healthy and I'm trying to change it, but I'm an anxious person who always needs to be doing something-- and it doesn't help that I work better at night, when I'm alone and no one's bothering me... so it's kinda hard to quit.

Studies show people who sleep 6-7 hours are healthier and live longer. But atleast six would be good.
