Is she really a christian

I know this girl that claims she is a christian but she cuss, drink, smoke, use to sell drugs, and have previously dated her same sex. I want to know can she really be a christian???

Being a christian isn't based on how much you sin, its based on what you believe in.

And according to the Christian faith, if you believe in Jesus and claim he is lord, you will go to heaven no matter what you do on earth.

dullikglitter is correct, it's about what you believe in. She can claim that she is a Christian and be one. After all, no one is perfect and Christianity loves to claim that they aren't, so she'll fit right in I suppose.

christains are not supposed to do be like that.some people dont take their religion seriously.but maybe she is but not fully submitted to jesus.most people are hypocrites.

If you're a Christian according to whether you follow the religion properly and never break the rules, then 0.0000001% of supposed Christians are actually Christian.

well being a Christian isnt solely based on what you believe in. You CAN BELIEVE in a God, but do you BELIEVE GOD himself? Do you believe what he tells you? do you listen to what he asks? do you do anything for him?

ofcourse. people will always sin. some more than others. and nobody will ever walk the earth perfect again unless God himself does.

but understand one thing. that ***if you believe in Jesus and claim he is lord, you will go to heaven no matter what you do on earth.*** you are in the wrong.

you cant just go around killing people, raping people, cheating people, stealing, hurting people and expect that your in the Good. you cant just do whatever *you* want, now that your a Christian.

people can tell a Christian by the fruits they bear. if one is showing more fruits of a sinful selfish bieng than a selfless one, than maybe you need to rethink if the fruit they bear can be easily recognized as a Chistian's.

like one of the examples Jesus gave from the Bible. Mathew 7:15-20.

Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

basically. a Christian will be recognized by the fruit they bear. understanding that the Christian isnt perfect and will sometimes bear bad fruits in their lifes, should make you understand that you cant all of a sudden judge a person if they are a Christian of not. But, in time, you will see if they are or not, by studying them. And if they bear way more bad fruits than good, than maybe they have fooled themselves in believing that they are Christians. hence *so-called Christians*.

keep this in mind. we as Christians know one thing. that we know proof ourselves that we are saved by the way we are AFTER we accept the Lord.

our lives were filled with sin and selfishness before we accept Christ. and after we accept, it is expected for our hearts, minds, actions, and selfishness, to change gradually over time, now that we have God in our hearts.

so one who accepts Christ, and is the same after accepting, is someone who fooled themselves into believing they are who they claim to be. hence *fake*, *not real*, *so-called believers*, *so-called Christians*.

for you cannot be the same person once you accept. and a *real-Christian*, is the exact opposite. not perfect, but a person who tries to do the will of God, knowing that they will fail at times. a person who is different after acceptance.

so pertaining your friend. your just going to have to study the fruits she bears to really understand if she is one or not. those might be the sins you see, but you also might not see the good fruit she bears. maybe she bears no good fruit. maybe she does. your just going to have to understand what it means to be a Christian, to yes, even though it sounds wrong, make an assumption (since one cannot judge).

YEs but don't give her the impression that it's OKAY.That's like justifying every wrong ful act because aww no worries mate will just believe in Jesus when it's time to die.

IF she is REALLY STRUGGLING..that means she wants to change but she keeps finding herself unable too like a drug or sex addiction she will really be sincere in her heart to ask Jesus to save her.

But if she is doing it out of ignorance and CAN STOP IT but DOESN NOT WANT TOO..then remember aww I'll just believe in Jesus don't you think God would know better?
