I was nearsighted ever since I was 14. I am going to take lazer eye really soon, but back to my question. Say if I have kids, will my kids inherit nearsightedness? Or since I am taking the surgery would it brake the nearsighted chain?

The conditions that cause near sigh problems are inherited. Corrective eye surgery will not do a thing to fix the genes that you'll pass on to your kids.
