Is my friend turning suicidal?

My good friend of four years,seems to be out of it lately.She never seems to be happy anymore,and always looks,as if the world is going to come to a end for her.So,yesterday I was talking to her about how her life has been lately,and she said that now,she's on pills to calm her down and she's planning to see a therapist soon.The thing that made me even more nervous was because she said that at times,she would try to kill herself.

I can honestly say that I have no idea why my friend has been like this because I've met her family,and they are some of the most nicest people you will ever meet and last year,she seemed to have such a wonderful boyfriend.I'm friends with her ex-boyfriend,and he's nice,but from what she told me,didn't sound like it.Apparently,he was abusive towards her - verbally I mean,and apparently raped her.From another friend's perspective,her ex never did such a thing,and he isn't considered the kind to be that way.

I don't know what to do about this situation.It is really starting to bother me,and I don't know what to say or react towards this situation.Please help...

well you need to make shure that she does see a therapist and if she is a 'cutter' then monitor her arms on a daily basis if possible she might not like it but it's what she needs convince her that she is better than anything and she has a lot going for her if she 'pops pills' monitor the pills at her house and try to get rid of most of them if possible
