Is my dog pregnant?

My female dog has started hiding her food, in laundry baskets, boxes and under blankets. Does this mean she is pregnant. She did have an incounter with a minpin and chihuahua over 4 weeks ago.

Hiding her food does not mean she's PG...the hiding (burying bones etc) is left over instinct from the wild...to save for later what they don't want now.

This is not to say she isn't PG, just that hiding food isn't an indication.

hiding food is normal for dogs, this may sound strange but look at her nipples and even feel them, some dogs show early signs of pregancy through the breasts.

My dog hides his food in his cage when he is done eating some of it because he doesn't want the other dog to take it. It's cute lol.

my dogs do that too they hide food even if they dont want it they take it and hiding just they dont want the other dogs to have it so its pretty normal cute and funny lol!

and also wait for a few weeks then check if she gains weight and if so then yes she is pg but all you can do now is wait!
