Is my belly-button infected?

I got my belly-button pierced almost a month ago and I've only just noticed a blob of blood around an exit point of the piercing that WON'T GO AWAY.
It's giving off a watery type of blood and there's horrible gungey stuff that keeps forming around the piercing.

I don't know how it happened because I always cleaned it.
I'm starting to think maybe it was when my cat kicked me in the belly lol.
Maybe he ripped the piercing a bit?

But still, the blob of blood won't go away. What do I do?

I had a similar problem when I got my belly button pierced a couple years back. Use non-scented soap and sea salt water works also. Maybe even put some neo-sporin on it.

Ok I had the same problem also the thing that I know for sure works is use some anti-bacterial soap at least twice a day and that blood blob thingy will clear up in about a few days trust me and respond to let me know that I was right. I've heard you can use seasalt but I never tried it before. But go back to the place you got it from. Your belly ring is infected. and I bet if feels really uncomfortable to you

It's even worse now because I used alcohol-based anti-sceptic wipes on my piercing to clean the bar. It was a very wet wipe and a drip of the stuff went right into the piercing. It stung for ages and now whenever I bend forward, it aches.

I'm going to use anti-bacterial soap to see if it works. If not, I'm going to get myself to the doctors lol!
Thanks everyone.
