I'm still a virgin but i've read about this. It can be painful but everyone is different. Anyways if it is painful it shouldn't last long. A few minuets to an hafe an hour.

It depends on you. If you are turned on enough and you p**y is open enough, then the pain is marginal. If you force the penetration, then it is more painful.

Sex should never hurt. If it does hurt, it means something is not quite right. Most of the time when people feel pain during sex, it's because they rush into it without actually learning anything about reproductive anatomy first.

The most common cause of pain is simply not having enough lubrication. That can very easily be fixed with foreplay or a bottle of lubricant from the store. The problem is that too many people don't know about lubrication before having sex. A lot of people don't really know what lubrication is or why it is necessary. So many people have this warped idea that sex is supposed to hurt that when it does, they don't even question it.

The second most common cause of pain is being tense and nervous.

So if you actually know about your body, are lubricated, and are a comfortable and relaxed, then sex should not hurt. If it does hurt even when you are lubricated and relaxed, make sure you talk to your ob-gyn about it as that can be a sign of other problems such as infection.
