any death in the family is hard... you can take it out your head but it will never leave your heart.
I dont know wht you could do 2 feel better. the mourning period is over so you just have to do your best to ease yourself:
Each person experiences grief in their own way and the length of the mourning period varies for different people, cultures, and religions
Moving past a death can take a long time, sometimes. The grieving process is different for each person, and that's okay. I lost someone close to my heart over two years ago and it still hurts. It's all normal.
When it comes to feeling better, I've found that writing journal entries about feelings has been helpful for me. I've used poems, stories and letters to get out what I can't put into words verbally. Maybe if you did that, too, it could help you. LiveJournal is awesome for such stuff. Another thing that's helpful, if you can, is talking to others about how you feel. Lean on your friends and family for support if you feel like you can trust either of them with it.
If you feel like this is effecting your life in a negative way, meaning you're not able to do normal things due to the grief, I'd also recommend trying grief counseling. It's tough to take that step, but very beneficial.
Either way, I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
