It's not wrong to experiment with different styles. Just wear what you like and try out different things until you find what you like. If you're comfortable with what you're wearing, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks or says. You aren't a poser just because you are trying to find what you like.

the reason they were calling you a poser is because people can tell a poser from a mile away if they call themselves emo, scene, etc don't label yourself an you wont get called a poser be yourself and do what you want don't go out and do a style because you see other people doing it wear a white flannel shirt with a red shirt under dont match if thats you go to the store find clothes you like don't do trends there stupid originality seems to be lost these days

what ever style you want, go for it
but trust me, NEVER tell someone what your TRYING to be
because if you dont look it then you will be called a poser
and if you got the style down, people will look at you and know what you are
if they dont, then thats ok, just means that your not like everyone else and all the better, right??
