Is it true that slipknot separated?

Is it true that slipknot separated? if its true then since when they have been separated? Anyone know the reasons? Please! I have to know!

I don't think it's true but I do know that the last time KoRn was on tour the drummer from Slipknot was drumming for them so that may be what you were hearing about. =D

Everyone said that they were splitting back in 2002 after they released Iowa. What actually happened was that they had taken time to produce the third album (Subliminal Verses) and started/continued side projects (Joey is in Murderdolls, Corey is in Stone Sour). Since then, they've spent the last couple years doing tours, live albums, etc... Their next album is coming out August this year.

no they are on a break so cory can work with stone sour and jeoy can work with murder dolls some even just want to be with there family they are due to release a new album in 2008
