no it doesn't. when you gain and lose weight, usually your breasts get bigger and smaller. that can take a toll on them and if you don't wear a supportive bra then that can cause them to sag. breastfeeding is natural and that is what breasts are intended for. you can reduce the chances of getting breast cancer if you breastfeed too. there are no downers to it.

It doesn't make them sag any more than other factors, like age, and/or not wearing a proper bra. The breast tissue naturally deteriorates, it's just a fact of life. But breast feeding is perfectly natural, not only does it decrease the risk of breast cancer, but it helps you lose the weight you gained during pregnancy. It also helps the uterus get back into shape more quickly than those who do not breast feed. Above all, it's best for your baby. I agree with you kmom25, there are no downers to it! :-)

I disagree I'm afraid. I breast fed for nine and 2 months (my two boys) and I wasn't obese or anything. I wore bras throughout the whole pregnancy, breastfeeding and night bra - but nope, they went south regardless lol!

however, it was worth it. they're going to go south one day anyway, you may as well have them south knowing that you gave your baby the best possible start and it's a wonderfully fulfilling experiance.

my hubby doesn't mind, he knows that my pregnancy stretch marks and due-south boobs are like that because I had two gorgeous boys and did the best I could by and for them. it's a small price to pay...
