Don't pierce it yourself though, your tongue is a sensitive area and something could easily go wrong.

LOL!! nope. you can still french kiss...some people might not like the way it feels, but some do...just depends. getting a piercing in your tounge does'nt mean you can no longer move it...but it might feel weird for a while, and you'll probably have to adjust to the way it feels in your mouth...

Depending on the exact placement of your jewelry, your barbell can rub against your gums. At the least, this can cause sore spots, but at the worst, it can cause real damage. Steel bars, balls, and teeth do not make an ideal combination. It's possible to wear the enamel away, leaving your teeth open to decay. You can also accidentally bite down on your jewelry, fracturing or actually breaking one or more teeth.

now these are worst case senarios...but I figured I just throw them in, cause I've seen two of these happen...with that being said, if you're planning on having it done make sure you read up on all of the procedures and make sure the person who pierces you is licensed to do so!!! okay? take care!

clearly if you dont know the facts about them your not qualifyed to peirce it yourself

id done wrong you can paralize your tounge
most likley youll get it crokked, do it wrong, and get an infection
just save up $50 bucks and get it done profesionaly
theres a lot more to peircings than just shoving something through your skin

well for a few days or up to week its advised that you dont kiss anyone
because the bacteria from there saliva can cause infection
but after that or when its healed up a bit you can go back to kissing as you normally would
it doesnt permanently stop you from doing anything

no I dont know where you heard that but I've had mine done for almost 2 years and have had no problems with that.

no its not true, actually it will make french kissing a little better. I have my tounge pierced and I get told its better ...
