I heard that woman who are active like dancers, or gymnasts, or athletes in general dont have their period as often? Is that true?

yeahhh its because we burn so much caliroes and stuff lol I only get mine 3 days each month

not necessarily
really that only happens if they
do too much exercise during the day/month
are underweight
or have an eating disorder/are not eating or are told/forced to stay thin
and all of those things are very common amongst athletes, especially in ballet

totally true. im in track and I get mine about 6 times
a year. but some people who dont get their periods
as often are just underweight. not necissarly anorexic
or belimic but just underweight. but yes if your more
active then you wont get it as often.

I think that's true because when I'm more physically in shape my periods only last three days, I still have them every month but they aren't as heavy.

im 16, and in a MAJOR ballet company,
I weigh 45 kg,
I do about 10 hours of non stop ballet 6 days a week,
and I only get mine for about 2 days, 6 times a year.
