hey is it safe to make friends with a person on this website or on myspace? because I met this girl and she seems really nice but I'm a little nervous!

I mean she told me where she lives and her name but my parents sort of scared me when they told me about all the people who fake identites and act nice but there really like bad people!!

It's perfectly safe if you know what information to withhold. Funadvice and other sites is a new and different way of meeting people that can really cater to individuals who are shy or with low self-esteems. If you're looking to just meet people and talk about interests and hobbies than there is no reason they should know where you live, street address, last name, etc. As long as you withhold information that is too personal or irrelevant to your conversation than things should work out fine.

Yea be her friend ... but dont go and meet her ... she could be a he and a he that really wants a boy

I think it is safe, but that is just me. Just be careful.
