don't do it!!! I still struggle with anorexia and bulemia, and it messed my body up so bad. I'm going to be 21 years old next month and my doctor doctor doesn't know how I can still function at all. I have so much muscle, nerve, organ damage from starving (when you have no more fat your muscles begin to eat away at them selves, then your organs...it's no fun) I suggest you read this book called Wasted by Marya Hornbacher, it's one of the most unique and insightful books about eating disorders I've ever come across (and I pretty much read them all) She's about 25 now, she's been anorexic and bulemic for 14 years. You'll really like it and you'll understand a lot more about eating disorders. Plus she is a really great author and it will be an interesting read for you.
First of all...no it's not okay for you to become anorexic or bulimic. It is extremely UNHEALTHY. 106.4 pounds is not a lot sweetie... It's perfectly normal to gain a bit of weight at times, as well as losing a bit. The way your body works is different from everyone else's, and even though how you feel about yourself is important- Don't forget that your health is important as well. Live a healthy lifestyle all together. Make healthy eating habits, and exercise regularly. That might make you feel better about keeping a certain weight--AS LONG AS IT'S HEALTHY! Now remember, it is normal and expected for someone your age to randomly gain and lose weight. Your family is apart of you, but you are your own person. It's fine to be concerned, but do the right things and take it from there. Maybe counseling would help you with you being so self conscious. Talk to a doctor if it helps, get reassurance and tips from him/her on how to stay healthy. Learn to love yourself!
Anorexia and bulimia are very dangerous dieses, please don't go down that path.
