Is it ok to mess around while on your period?

I just started my period and my boyfriend says that it doesnt bother him if we mess around and I am on that time of the month. is that true for most guys or not? and is it posible to get pregnant right after your period?

There is nothing wrong with 'messing around' while on your period. You can however, become pregnant while on your period. it all depends on when you ovulate. In order to find your ovulation time you would have to chart your basal body tempurature for each day and check your cervical mucus for changes. Certain changes in mucus and temp mean you are ovulating, if you chart this for a few months you can predict when you will ovulate and abstain from sex during those times.

But without this knowledge, you should not have intercourse while on your period, every woman's cycle is different -it is possible to become pregnant.
