Is it ok to be happy ?

On the 13/10/2008 one of my close mates died he got knocked off his moped at the young age of 17 and died a hour later , im missing him soo much already its only the 3rd day today! Yesterday I had a better day with my friend and had a laugh. Is it...

ok to be happy or is it very disrespectful due to the situation? I feel soo mean when I think about having a good time, 3weeks ago it could of been the other way around and me who died in my car crash..should of it been me who died? I cant help but blame myself I miss him soo much. R.I.p Sam I love you x x x x

people react differently ...it may seem rude to others,but its just your way of dealing with it..usually the 5 steps are

Denial and Isolation,Anger,Bargaining,Depression and finally Acceptance

Well sweety our beloved one always want us to be happy and spend great time ,sometimes when we drift away in life it doesnt mean we dont love them or we forgot them , b because they are always will be in our heart no matter what , they watch us when we grow up and take care of us , and when you do better in your life they will be proud of u, we hold the loved one too tightly because we know that this life gives no promises, I tell you from now on enjoy every minute in your life, it doesnt worth for sadness or tears, I hope I gave you good advice imtrying to be optimistic all the time

Yeah everyone grieves in their own way. It may not have really hit you yet, or you may be in a bit of denial, or you just needed someone to talk to and not feel the pain of the loss of a friend (even for just a few moments), so having a bit of a laugh is alright. Sorry to hear about your friend.

ok really it's a great thing that you had a laugh because it's onw way to not go into a depression mode. And I understand that you miss him but I don't think he would spend the rest of your life being sad.

well my aunt and uncle both died within 48 hours back in august and yes I tried to still be my normal self I know my uncle would have wanted me too, and even at is funeral that was @ our house it turned into a party because he would have done that if he would have been there so just do what feels right God can help you out on anything and if you need to talk about God or anything I am available ...
