Can a girl ask a boy out?

is it true that only the boy can ask a girl out? bc I really like this boy, and think he feels the same way 2, but would it b like, against social rules 2 ask him out?

no, ask him out, GO FOR IT! but you should tell him you like him first, and see what his reaction is, if its good just ask him! It is totally acceptable for a girl to ask a guy out. In fact, I think most guys would prefer it if the girl would ask him out. Certainly guys really like being asked out by girls - go for it, you're not breaking any rules whatsoever by doing it!

go for it! my girlfriend asked me and I thought that is was a bold-move! there's absolutly no shame nor breakin rules or whateva. some times when guys are the ones asking, its not really convincing if the girl goes out with you just to have fun or to be really emotionly involved. if the girl asks, then the guy really puts all his strength in making her happy cause he knows for sure, like 'she chose me'... aww well... Ask him out. Girls ask guys all the time. There's nothing wrong with it. If you like him, then ask him out. This isn't the 1500's. lol
