Is it normal to want to act so bad?

My dream has always been to be an actress! I'm always looking up auditons and casting calls online, but im afraid to tell my parents b/c I dont want to ruin my family by going to professional auditions. Should I give up my dream or go for it?

as hard as it may be to accept, parents have the right of making your decisions until youre 18, if you can wait that long then of course follow your dream, be optimistic, you wont ruin your family by doing that, you'll benefit them more than anything.

Know matter what your Parents will always be your Parents and your family will always be your family..we are born into a family of chance and then as we get older we get to pick a family of Choice...your life is your life even under your parents where as you have to Obey them until you are 18years old ( by Law) your life is still your life an you have to live that life..they are not going to do it for you and can not do it for you either...what you choose to do with it should be something that you wont to do. So I would say follow your dreams yes but not at the cost of your family you have your hole life to make your dream come true...your family however is never going to change where as your dream might.

Ask your parents how they would feel about it (plus's / minus's) and respect their opinion - it's called 'communication' - then you'll know for sure where they stand...Good luck !!

Talk to your parents about it. Nothing is worth doing if your parents don't know about it. You may be pleasantly surprised by their reaction.
