Yes its very normally especially at your age. I started my period at 11 and when I was around that age missed it for a whole year and ever since I have times where I miss it 1-4months. Sometimes I only get my period 3 times a year. Its just the way a womens body is unfortantly.

This can be normal in young women; however if you have had any sexual contact you need to contact a doctor, take a pregnancy test, and get tested for STD's. You need to keep track of your periods on a calender, that way you can determine what is right for you. In the meantime, have your Mom take you for a check up to make sure that you do not have any hidden problems. It is better to be safe than sorry.

If you're a virgin and your period just started in the last year, then yes.

As far as I know(I grew up in a house of women), more women than not are considered irregular, where their periods do not happen on a set date every month. Being young, this will happen more often. I'd talk to a woman in your family if possible to find out if they had the same issues(genetics always plays a part), and if the periods are very painful and heavy, check with a doctor as soon as possible. Could be a hormonal imbalance or something worse. But hey, I'm a dude, so I could be very wrong :P.
