If you have having pain in you back rather than your genitals, and after sex but not during, I'd suggest trying a different bed or position. Move around a lot too, to improve circulation. I had cramps in my legs that would keep me awake at night half the night for 5 YEARS at least, till I realized it was pinched nerves and muscles from bad furniture. If the problem persist check with your doctor. Mine suggested posture and that fixed it all, total cost, $60 bucks for the visit and $200. Start cheaply.

I'm a nurse and it sounds like you might have a problem. Cramps in the lower abdomen can indicate ovarian cysts(most are harmless) or something else. Try having very lubricated sex. If you continue to have sharp pain, go see a doctor. Even if nothing is wrong. Better to be safe than sorry!!
