Your period should automatically stop.
You actually can still have a period. and be preg that happened to a friend of mine...but get a test...best answer...good luck It's hard to lose a baby...I did..
I'm sorry to hear that katycat its a hard thing no woman should ever have to go through! My love and good wishes is with you too xo
We have'nt planned this pregnancy unlike the last one due to work and financial situations (if I am pregnant) but will welcome it with open arms , im waiting until another few days its only been like 5 days and I dont think it will show yet on the pregnancy test suppose im just a little anxious.
I had my period for two months during my pregnancy, it happens to a lot of people
hey thanks for everyones replys! I know you can still get periods but what I mean is if you conceive like a few days before your period will your period automatically stop or will it still come for that month because its kinda already began to start and then you will miss the next ones or will it (in most cases) stop the day you concieve?
I'm sorry about the loss in your previous pregnancy. That would really be a difficult thing. However, I would say your best bet would be to get a home pregnancy test or to go to the doctor and have them check out what is going on with your body. You could be possibly pregnant but I would think your period would stop if you were.
No matter how close you are to your period it should always stop. Even if you would conceive the day before your period (highly unlikely) your period would still stop. Your uterus would need the blood lining in it to cushion the egg when it implants. Sometimes you could still get a period but that is not supposed to happen.
Hope this answers your question & good luck

During early pregnancy

My husband I had sex on friday night and I was ovulating my period is due now but instead of a period I had a few merky spots of browny red blood and a few pains in the tummy. Im getting a few symptoms like bad headaches and lots of saliva same as I had before when I was pregnant (we lost the baby at 11 weeks unfortunetly before). Does anyone know if this browny red blood could be implantation bleeding? If I am pregnant because its so soon will I still get my period? Or does your periods stop immediately from the day of conception?
