Is it my scale packing on the pounds, or is it me?!

Mario Lemieux favorite hockey player Asked by icehockeyguy about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

This is really making me mad, lately.
I keep thinking im gaining weight, but I don't know, because I don't know if my scale is right...?

Like, I already know its about ten pounds off, it puts you as ten pounds lighter, so I'm just like, okay,whatever,...

I can deal with that.

but lately, I don't know if theres more wrong with it.
Ill get it out, and set it on the bathroom tiled floor and it'll say a little above the zero, like a notch or two, and then ill get on and itll say I've gained weight.

when I shouldnt have, I exercise regularly and try to eat well.
So..is it just my scale, cause im really freaking out/ annoyed with this...

Thanks.

Your weight fluctuates throughout the day after you've eaten food or have retained liquid.

Try weighing yourself in the morning after a shower, for example, to be consistent.

Wouldn't hurt to invest in a digital scale either, but your regular one shouldn't be 'broken'.

Get a new, digital one, it's not that big of an investment!

My old one went really wierd and told me I was about 7lbs heavier one day compared to another.

Digital one works fine now!
