the room, It was the first time I'd met her. She had just turned one.

I had just had a flashback of what had happened to me in the children's home, I didn't know what to make of it at that young age it's really hard to explain, I felt like I was dreaming and then I felt that I could do it myself so I moved over to cousin with some chewing gum I was chewing and I was thinking that I could put her on the bed and do what he did to me to her.

I thought about as I was moving closer to her then I just stopped and felt that it was wrong so the idea just flew out of my mind. I would never tell my family or friends about this or even my therepist because I just feel like I couldn't handle the rejection and looks. I have not seen my cousin since I was twelve I am twenty-four now. Even though I did nothing I still feel so guilty.

how about realizing that a fleeting thought is not a deed? forgive yourself and get on with your life. the mind is a tricky thing. just like dreams don't necessarily mean literally what they convey; thoughts sometimes flood the mind from past experiences. what happened to you was tragic and no doubt traumatic. you didn't however act on your memories. be kinder to yourself and realize you too were only a kid just figuring out right from wrong.
