Is it common to have a period and still be pregnant ?

is it common to have a period but still be pregnant at the same time, my mate asked me to ask .

it's possible, and yes it happens commonly.

my mate had a 5 day light blood clot bleeding when usally on for 7 days.

Well, my sister is pregnant and she has had light blood spots and the doctor told her that it is normal and it may happen again. He just said to watch it carefully and to write it down if it is light or not and how long it last. But this may not be the case for you go see a doctor and get this checked out.

Its not that common unless there is a problem. You should tell your friend to see a doctor if she is pregnant as there is a chance she is miscarrying. The period may be getting confused with implantation bleeding?

yh I will tell her that when she comes on msn as I am worrried about her a lot.
and I just want her to be safe if you know what I mean?

If she has changed birth control recently there may be something in that.
Other than a miscariage I cant think of anything. There isnt really any reason beyond a miscariage and implantation bleeding (which is very light ) that women bleed in pregnancy.

ill ask my mate on if it was late bleeding and if she has changed birth control as well.
