hot means you look like a sl*t. pretty means you have good characteristics and you look clean and take care of yourself.

Pretty, means they like you

and hot means just your bod and nothing else. All they saw was you bod and not you.

Well I love it when my boyfriend tells me that im beautiful because that means that he loves me for me and not just my body, all other guys I have known have called me sexy or hot which is ok I guess but it just means that probly all they want is sex.

it's better if a guy calls you hot, cause when you call someone hot, you actually mean it, whereas when a guy calls a girl pretty, he might just be acting nice.
