Is it bad to be a frank person?

I AM A COOL AND VERY FRANK PERSON BUT BEING FRANK WITH MY FRIENDS AND TEACHERS SETS ME TO LOTS OF PROBLEM . IS IT VERY BAD TO BE FRANK?

Y'know honesty is usually the best policy but there are times when discression is the greater part of valour.

I know people who are literally honest to a fault. They have trouble even telling little white lies to protect other people's feelings. There are times when lying is the lesser of the available evils.

Of course most people have more of a problem being honest than lying so if you are going to error one way or the other I'd prefer you to error on the side of honesty.

You need to develop a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense....aka Tact.
