Bee sting - is it bad to scratch?

Yesterday, I was at my sisters softball game, and if I walked down to the next field, there was a major 1 game (There are three stages. Preminor (what my sister is in), Minor, Major 1(what I'm in), and Major 2). I had played the team three nights before,...

and I knew they were big jerks, so that's what I went to go watch. As I was walking back, since I was wearing flipflops, a bee flew into one of them, I guess you could say that, when I had my foot up, and stung my foot because I stepped on it...there was no stinger in it, but it hurt really bad to walk on it, and putting ice on it hurt worse, but I did, to keep down the swelling. Now it itches really really bad, but is it bad to scratch it?

Well, you probably shouldn't scratch it.. just because you may irritate your skin because you itch it so much... But if you do a bit it's probably not much of a problem. Try some calendula ointment or cortisone cream on in.
