My friend matt's girlfriend has recently broken up with him. he tells me he now likes another girl, but he's worried it might just be relationship rebound. he's asking me for advice, as in, whether I think he actually likes her or not. To add to the...

dilemma, I am actually questioning myself whether I like him or not. I'm pretty sure I do. I want to keep this in mind, but I don't want to ruin anything for him either.
What should I tell him?

he found a new girl he likes and wants to chase her but I reckon he still carrys a touch for his ex based on your question so yes he is on a rebound..

now to you --- you like him as he's now a free agent, but how much do you value your friendship with him... once you cross the line from friends to lovers and things dont turn out right later on, the close platonic friendship you both had before will be lost forever.
