Is he making me jealous?

I heard that my crush/ex boyfriend is going out with someone 2 years younger, in grade 6...we're in grade 8. He specifically told my friend to tell me that...and she asked why?...he said, just do it!

So I told my best friend about it, she said, do you...

still like him?...I said, a little, ...she was all like, does he like you?...I said, I don't know he has a new girlfriend...she asked, who?...a girl 2 years younger, I said...she said, maybe he's trying to get you jelous to make you like him more, so it will become obvious and he'll ask you out again...I said you think so? she said I know so! (and she is a guy expert, and she went out with him, then dumped him, so she should know this stuff!)

I think it's all incredibly immature.
yeah, he's probably trying to make you jealous.
(it makes it obvious, saying that he told your friend to tell you)
but her being 2 years younder, just makes him sound stupid.
