Is having my dog professionally groomed okay in colder weather??

Me Asked by whitelacelullabies about 1 month ago, 4 answers.

So, I have a dog, Drake. He is a Rott Lab mix. He is about seven months old.
I was wondering if it would be okay to have him groomed professionally...
I know I don't need to bathe him stick him back outside to dry, but what if he is already...

dried?
He just rolls around in the mud gets real dirty and stinky. I also need to have him neutered and don't wanna take him all dirty.

Yeah it's fine. Most people that groom animals dry them off after they're finished. My aunt takes her dog to the groomers quite a lot.

No groomer is going to send your dog home wet. They use big dryers...

I'd say no. save the grooming for warmer weather. rotts and labs don't have very thick coats. they need a thicker coat so they can stay warm in winter. keep the coat, trim the nails.
