as my boyfriend was finishing, I started uncontrollably farting... is this normal?

yes, because the pumping action of the penis pumps air into your back passage, the same as when you have normal intercourse, air can be pumped into the vagina. When that air is released it sounds like you are passing wind.

If you are talking about farting from your vagina then yes. It doesn't happen all the time or every time but it does happen on occassion. Some refer to it as queefing or varting.

If you are talking about your anus then I would guess you could pass gas too.

If you are talking about vaginal intercourse and you pass gas through your anus then that's a little more rare but not totally uncommon, anythng can happen.
